Harvests of Friends and Compassion in Rwanda

Harvests of Friends and Compassion in Rwanda (HFCRwanda) is a nonprofit organization, based at Nyagatare in the country of Rwanda (Eastern Africa).

HFCRwanda exists to break the cycle of poverty in Rwanda by providing education, spiritual insight and basic necessities to Orphans, to poor children, and poor families. Since 2011, Harvests of Friends and Compassion has shared the gospel using two hands: the hand of compassion, helping to meet basic needs and give hope for the future to those living in poverty in Rwanda, and the hand of evangelism, sharing the freedom and hope found in Christ.

The organization HFCRwanda, was founded in 2011 after seeing the consequences of the poverty, War and Genocide of Tutsi in Rwanda 1994, and the sickness and death caused by HIV/AIDS.  

We are a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of underprivileged and orphaned children, and children from poor familes in Rwanda.

The HFCRwanda would like to provide school fees, school uniforms, and school materials for the children until they finish secondary school. The HFCRwanda is willing to cover the health insurance of the child and if possible for all families and provides the parents with credits to improve the living conditions. Besides supporting these basic needs, HFCRwanda would like to offer other activities such as regular meetings on Saturdays where the children can pray together, and play games.

Our Vision

Is to provide a loving and safe home, to help educate hundreds of orphans, children from poor familes and victims as we struggle to overcome  and break the cycle of poverty.

This makes us happy whenever we see a child going to school.

Pastor Maniragaba Jean Claude is the Founder of this HFCRwanda.

We offer Pastoral Training to servants of God and we also donate to them Kinyarwanda Bibles to them. After Genocide of Tutsi April 1994 in Rwanda; we found that, God has restored to hearts of  Rwandans through the Word of God. The Bible has life. The Bible is the greatest gift we can give to servants of God and to the people they lead to the Kingdom of God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 We had good time in Nyanza District, South Province. Glory be for God in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We always thank God for these Pastors as they keep on serving the Almighty God and seeking first the Kingdom of God.

 We had good time in KATABAGEMU Region, we thank Pastor of this local region for the great work of God they are doing, serving others and make sure that the Word of God is being preached to people of this place.
